While she was still in high school, Material Girls owner Whitney Giordano decided she wanted to open her own women’s boutique, and her college career was focused on fulfilling that goal. Whitney was clear in her vision to bring the most current trends to the Jackson market. She opened Material Girls in Dogwood Promenade in Flowood, MS when she was six months away from college graduation. The store was an instant success, leading Whitney to open a second location in Renaissance at Colony Park in 2008.
